24th - 31st December
Everything we ate was great, it was nice to see pheasant and venison which were both excellent.
Smoked salmon, beef and turkey were excellent.
Excellent friendly service.
Very good well balanced meal.
Beef was fantastic.
All meals ordered were excellent.
Service was attentive but not intrusive, polite but not overbearing.
Only had coffee but the best cup of coffee in Cornwall.

An ideal place for an out of season quiet break.
The warm, relaxed and personal service is what stands out the most, your hotel has a lovely, calming feel, please don't lose this as you expand. A big plus is your open fires and comfy sofas too!! Everything at your hotel has a wonderful feeling. From the moment we got here to the minute we left, it has been absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing, the log fires and sofas and the room was all wonderful.
The quality of the hotel and all the small touches. Other places have polite and efficient staff but they lacked the warmth of your own staff.
We made our booking on line but required a cot and high chair - a lady rang back within minutes - exceptional service. All the staff were friendly and helpful - would stay here again and recommend to family and friends.
The reception staff were quick, efficient, had big smiles and were very welcoming with our dog. Everytime we returned to the hotel we were recognised and greeted by name - impressive. We love the Headland for its individuality, country house and traditional feel.

The risotto was very nice - the waitress was fantastic.
Everything was outstanding!
We loved the impeccable service - very friendly and they couldn't do enough for you. Even our cleaner offered advice about tidal times when we told her we were going for a walk along the beach.

The whole team were extremely helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble for them, it made the holiday most enjoyable
I was ill and the staff were so helpful and made checking in so easy.
We loved the cosy groups of armchairs where people could meet up. The real log fires, friendly helpful staff and our food was fresh and well cooked with each order preparted individually.
Would definately recommend to friends and family!
The staff are polite, helpful and friendly - it creates a really nice relaxing atmosphere.

Second visit to your hotel, will definately return. Warm and comfortable, excellent ocean views. Very welcoming and lovely fires in winter, superb location. All staff very caring and helpful.
We loved the room, the lovely setting but most of all the staff. Friendly, efficient and informative.
The steak was lovely, cooked exactly as I like. The service was exemplary.

Helpful and attentive service without being intrusive - efficient and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment.
Team worked really well together - seamless.
All staff exceptional.
Banoffee tart was delicious. Red wine jus with the duck and steak was delicious.
Exceptionally cheerful, friendly and fun service.
Everything was perfect.
Your staff are all always polite and friendly.
Our favourite place in Cornwall - relaxing and comfortable.
we haven't stayed anywhere to this standard in the last 5 years.
The customer service from reservations was excellent. the cottage was very well equipped. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and home from home comforts. The fire was a bonus.
I really enjoyed my stay - dog did too and was welcomed by all members of staff. I feel refreshed and able to go back to everyday life with batteries fully recharged!
When I called reservations it really felt like talking to a human who knew exactly what we were after. We'll be back - with friends.

All staff are very welcoming and made our visit special
Sea bass exceptionally well cooked - very tasty.
Soup was amazing. Duck was delicious.
We enjoyed the taste and presentation of the whole meal.
Great service, food beautifully presented, well made and fabulous ingredients
Sandwiches and chips delicious.
Childrens entertainment, just the right balance. We will remember staying at The Headland - your staff are all very characterful

Can't improve on anything, it is about as good as you can get in the UK
Excellent accommodation - it is so difficult to find QUALITY accommodation which is also suitable for a wheelchair user - we are so grateful.
Steak was perfect.
We always have the same cottage when we visit, it is not available we will wait until it is. Everyone we dealt with was beyond criticism - happy and helpful
All staff pleasant and smiley we will be back.
This is our sixth stay in the cottages. The whole experience is fantastic. Please keep up the superb standard.
Yet another wonderful stay. We have brought the grown up children this time and they have loved it. The accommodation is superb.

We have not hotelled in south west but have stayed in several others including Hilton - we feel your hotel is much friendlier, homely and welcoming. We can certainly recommend you. Thank you all for a pleasant short break.
Amazing view and comfy bed. Very much enjoyed our stay.
